All About Julianne & Paul
Julianne DiBacco and Paul Daniells are current Professional smooth competitors, receiving weekly training from former US champions, and studying hard to improve their own dancing. However, their passion is imparting their knowledge to other dancers at whatever level they may be at, from absolute beginners, through the keen social and regular dance enthusiasts, and on to Amateur and Professional competitors.
Julianne DiBacco: Since a very early age, Julianne has been dancing, performing, and competing both in classical dance such as ballet, tap and jazz, as well as other areas, including various sports and horseback riding. For 10 years, she trained and performed in traditional dance, but was involved in so many activities she couldn’t do them all. She then followed her passion of riding and showing Arabian horses, accumulating numerous local, regional, and even national awards. After high school, she began attending college at Santa Clara University, where she received a Bachelor's in Business Management and a Bachelor's in Psychology in just 4 years. Julianne also holds a Master's of Business Administration from the W.P. Carey School of Business.
A year after she graduated college, Julianne discovered her true passion in ballroom dancing. She quickly began training and competing as an amateur at various ballroom competitions both nationally and internationally, winning top honors at almost every competition she attended.
Julianne has now returned to the Professional Dance competition circuit with her new partner Nikolay Kralev, and they are already challenging for top honors in the rising star events.
Julianne is a certified professional dance instructor with Dance Vision International Dance Association (DIVIDA). Additionally, she competes with her students across the United States in American Smooth, American Rhythm, International Standard and International Latin
Paul Daniells is a Ballroom Dancer and former Amateur & Professional champion in International style Ballroom, Latin-American and 10-Dance, and was the selected English representative at many dance competitions. He is qualified with the International Dance Teachers Association (IDTA) and the UK Association of Professional Teachers of Dance (UKAPTD). He has competed, taught, demonstrated and judged at events around the world (…in 17 countries so far), as well as on cruise ships such as the QE II. Paul has appeared many times dancing in films and on TV.
Paul is currently competing in the United States as a professional in Pro-Am events dancing with his students in four dance styles (American Smooth, American Rhythm, International Standard and International Latin-American)
With his true and deep passion for dance, having been trained by multi-time world champions such as Bill & Bobbie Irvine, Richard & Janet Gleave and Alan & Hazel Fletcher, Paul has the ability to make a dancer out of anyone who he teaches, and to take current dancers to the next level in their social, competition and showcase dancing!
Paul and Julianne and looking forwards to helping you get the most out of your dancing!
Our very first showdance together in 2013 - seems like only yesterday!
Put together at short notice, two teachers at the same studio never having danced with each other before, working hard on this routine brought us closer. This was the turning point, we obviously had strong feelings for each other, and shortly afterwards which we decided to make it a permanent partnership.
